Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as this may damage the finish. Take care not to expose your furniture to strong or direct sunlight. Excessive sunlight can cause fading. Extreme heat and humidity changes can cause cracking and splitting. Take care not to place rubber or plastic materials on to the wood finish as chemicals within rubber and plastic can react with the finish if left in contact for a long period. Seek professional advice for any scratches or staining.
